8/16/77 .... The day some people believe "the music" really died. Elvis was the first singer of "my" generation who really made me want to sing for a living. He took a new form of music and turned the whole country on to "Rock & Roll". They said he'd never last, well his music is going as strong today as it was 40 years ago. What's amazing, is that although a lot of today's youth make fun of his music, ...... they still know it
      And they will be teaching it to their own "next generation".
